With the Presidential course golf becomes a game of two halves, to use the old cliche, the front nine features wide fairways, large greens and a large number of bunkers and water hazards.
However on the back nine everything gets a little tougher with the fairways narrowing to a size where a little wayward is going to get punished and the greens resemble postage stamps when compared to their counterparts on the opening nine.
