As with many links courses probably the most difficult obstacle the course has to offer is the wind, together with well placed bunkers and a stream that meanders through most of the course it makes for a tough challenge for most amateur players
Again the climate helps to keep the course in good condition all year round and very rarely is standing water found on this well drained course.
